In a world where car engineering has almost peaked, this Nissan Z rebuild, which includes a huge influence from Porsche and Maserati, is a hybrid that has completely divided opinions.
The Nissan Z on its own is quite a desirable sports car.
But so are Porsche and Maserati cars.
So, why not combine the three?

This Nissan Z has been modded beyond recognition
We’ve seen a tonne of awesome crossover cars of late. A DeLorean Tesla hybrid? Sure, been there, seen that.
A Jeep Ferrari? Yep, we’ve ticked off the Jerrari with ease.
But this time, one person has modded a Nissan Z so far beyond recognition that it is now a Porsche and Maserati crossover with only its original soul in place.

This particular hybrid build was first circulated back in 2018 as it appeared on Reddit and auction sites but has recently re-emerged in Japan. To little surprise, it drew a lot of attention.
The car uses the chassis of the Nissan 350Z and its 3.5 liter V6 engine, before having a Maserati front end being expertly connected to a Porsche rear placed over the skeleton.
Many of these strange hybrid cars often have a lot of imperfections like welding lines or strange kinks, but this unnamed beast appears to have had some very skilled hands running over its body.
Nissan Porsche Maserati crossover car divides opinions
After making the rounds on social media, a lot of sports car enthusiasts have judged the car by its cover.
It’s safe to say that not everyone agrees as to whether this is a genius mixtape or a barbaric monster.

“Not a fan of fake cars as much as when I was younger but the execution on this one looks pretty killer,” one person said on Facebook.
Another added: “Hate to say it, but it actually looks good.”
That sentiment was echoed by many others, although through gritted teeth.
There is a major flaw though. The branding. While the Nissan Z is rather impeccably put together, including the rich stitching of the interior, its misspelled ‘Porcshe’ labeling and confusing Maserati badge have left others rather baffled.
“Ok while the car is an atrocity of branding… it’s done really really well,” a third fan said on Reddit.
Of course, you can’t please everyone. This mashup is no different, as another Facebook stan said added: “The worst part is he possibly ruined three perfectly good cars to create this abomination.”
