J Balvin celebrated his 40th birthday in style, with an electric motorcycle as the unexpected star of the show.
The lavish, casino-themed bash took place in Italy’s rolling vineyards and featured a guest list that included Sofia Vergara, Daddy Yankee, and Zion.
But even among A-listers, it was the futuristic, anime-inspired bike that stole the spotlight.
Designed by J Balvin’s creative studio, Vita Veloce Team, in collaboration with DAB Motors, the one-of-one machine made its surprise debut in cinematic fashion.

The bike is a love letter to anime aesthetics, particularly the iconic red bike from Akira.
In fact, it bears close resemblance to the iconic Ferrari red, which is the color every car lover dreams of.

The prototype was crafted in just three weeks using AI-powered design tools and 3D modeling.
Indeed, it’s increasingly commonplace to use AI during the design process, with this AI-rendered Bugatti SUV design wowing netizens.
The motorcycle features a deep matte red body, fully enclosed wheels, and a sleek windshield. And it’s all wrapped in graphic decals that evoke the futuristic world of anime.

Its design is not only visually striking but also functional.
Offering a top speed of 130KMH and a charge time of 3.5 hours, it’s compatible with both home and Type 2 charging stations.
But the innovation doesn’t stop there.
The bike incorporates sound-absorbing foam on the wheel covers and rims, producing a low-frequency tone that enhances the riding experience.
Additionally, atmospheric LED light strips in the wheels create a cinematic effect, making every ride feel like a scene from a sci-fi movie.

With only 400 units of the DAB 1α electric motorcycle available, it has become a coveted collector’s item, blending cutting-edge technology with artistic design.
One thing is for sure, this bike will probably run laps around this $1,500 electric sportsbike from China, which took six whole months to ship to the US from China.
