Japan has recently debuted the world’s first plant-powered racing engine oil.

This new oil has impressed everyone in the racing world because of its unique, eco-friendly formula.

It’s made with over 80% plant-based materials.

This makes the new plant-powered engine oil, named ‘Idemitsu IFG Plantech Racing’ not only better for the environment but also an incredibly powerful option for racing engines.

World’s first plant-powered racing oil built in Japan

Japan is way ahead of most places when it comes to technology.

In fact, they even installed a 40-foot humanoid robot with a Wall-E-inspired head to work on Japanese railways, and now, they’ve taken that same innovative spirit to the world of racing oil.

The new plant-powered engine oil, called ‘Idemitsu IFG Plantech Racing’ combines racing performance with API SP certification.

This means it meets strict quality standards while using plant-based ingredients, which makes it unique in the market.

The oil has also shown impressive results in testing.

It has 194% more toughness than other leading engine oils.

The oil also reduces friction by 50% compared to competitors, which helps improve engine performance and durability.

Also, it provides 169% better protection for the engine and 124% better piston cleanliness in internal tests.

Idemitsu Kosan, the company behind this innovation, has even tested the oil in real-world racing conditions.

The new fuel gave impressive results

The Mazda Spirit Racing Roadster CNF used this oil in the Super Taikyu Series, a pro-am racing series, and it performed excellently throughout a five-hour race.

The process behind creating this innovative racing engine oil is amazing – it uses palm, rapeseed, and sunflower oils to create the base oil.

It is also much better for the environment, with a carbon footprint 82% lower than traditional mineral oils.

Idemitsu plans to sell this new oil online in Thailand, Australia, Singapore, and Malaysia soon, with other countries like the US, India, and Brazil to follow.
