Jeremy Clarkson raced a Bugatti Chiron with a BMW M4 to show the difference between really fast and Bugatti fast

Jeremy Clarkson once raced a Bugatti Chiron against a BMW M4 just to make a point.

The M4 is one of the fastest cars in the world, but obviously the Chiron is even faster.

And the drag race went exactly as expected.

In the end, the gap was so wide it was unbelievable.

The Grand Tour is still alive and kicking

When Jeremy, James, and Richard announced they would leave The Grand Tour, everyone assumed that Amazon would simply cancel the show, but they didn’t.

Contrary to what most people assumed, The Grand Tour is set to continue with new presenters.

It’s a huge gamble, mainly because the same strategy didn’t work with Top Gear.

In 2015, less than one year after the infamous Porsche 928 license plate incident, the BBC didn’t renew Clarkson’s contract, and then both Hammond and May also left the show.

The trio moved on, and the BBC tried keeping the show alive with eight different presenters over the next 10 seasons.

But the ratings kept plummeting.

Hopefully, the same won’t happen to The Grand Tour.

The BMW vs. Bugatti Chiron drag race is exactly why we miss The Grand Tour

There are several reasons why people miss The Grand Tour, but an absurd drag race like this, coupled with Clarkson’s commentary, is certainly one of the main reasons.

In a Grand Tour episode from a few years ago, Jeremy Clarkson had a drag race against a BMW M4 just to prove that the Bugatti Chiron he was driving was a lot faster than anything else.

The idea was to show viewers the difference between a very fast high-performance car, which is what the BMW M4 is, and a hypercar.

That’s like pitting an amateur fighter against Tyson Fury.

The BMW lost by a huge margin as the Chiron crossed the line about three seconds ahead of the BMW M4.

That’s a huge gap.

In soccer terms, that’s like winning 5-0.
