JETOUR invited Supercar Blondie to Wuhu, Anhui Province in China, for the JETOUR Global Technology Experience Day, and we found out something interesting about the brand.

Centered around their new ‘Future Travel Starts Now’, the multi-day event was a great chance to test drive some vehicles, but also a good opportunity to ask some questions, which we did.

We had the opportunity to ask Ke Chuandeng, President of JETOUR International what’s next for the brand and where he thinks the industry is heading.

JETOUR is expanding

In just eight years since its founding, JETOUR has expanded to over 100 countries and regions, establishing more than 2,000 sales and service outlets and surpassing 2.5 million users worldwide.

And this is just the start.

On JETOUR Global Technology Experience Day, Ke Chuandeng, President of JETOUR International, announced that JETOUR is preparing for its official market entry, slated for late 2026 or no later than Q1 2027.

Mr. Ke also emphasized that models and configurations will be carefully tailored to local market regulations, environment, and consumer demands.

For instance, vehicles destined for hot climates like the Middle East feature upgraded double cooling fan systems for enhanced cooling efficiency.

What’s next for JETOUR?

Mr. Ke highlighted at least three objectives: intelligent driving systems, AI-integrated smart cockpits designed to act as conversational companions, and multi-terrain mobility innovations including flying cars and amphibious water-sailing vehicles – like the G700.

JETOUR’s lineup will still mostly be anchored on T Series – the T1 and the T2 – both equipped with the XWD Fully Automatic Intelligent 4WD, and the G-Series, like the G700 SUV and F700 pickup.

Beyond that, Supercar Blondie also discovered a bit more about the future of the brand.

What does ‘Future Travel Starts Now’ mean to JETOUR and how does travel look in the next five years?

“JETOUR is a new brand. We just launched the brand eight years ago. But we already reached more than 2.5 million users worldwide,” President Ke Chuandeng noted.

“With our Travel+ strategy, we already have a very good foundation. And [at] this event, we also unveiled many new technologies, like our new intelligent driver system and the smart cockpit.

“The car will be intelligent and smart. [And it will also be usable across different terrains] other than on land. We can have flying cars, or even cars that sail on water with our GAIA architecture. That’s very exciting.”

Why is Travel+ central to JETOUR’s brand strategy?

“Now, if you see the cars, we have so many brands, so many [models] and so some of them are very similar. The car itself will not make a difference, [but] the lifestyle will,” Chuandeng said.

“The culture, the relationships, and the emotions from our customers will make a difference. So we want to promote or create lifestyle associated with the cars.”

JETOUR has had huge growth in the UAE, what has made the brand connect so strongly with the drivers there?

“We’re very proud that we are growing across different markets, and the UAE is one of them. If you go to Dubai or Abu Dhabi, you will see JETOUR vehicles everywhere. And we are really very proud of that,” Chuandeng told us.

“There are several reasons for that. First, [our goal] is to provide a qualified, reliable product for local people. For example, it’s very hot in the Middle East, which means we developed specific A/C systems for these cars.

“Service and parts availability are also key factors, especially for a new brand, so that’s the second part. The third part is the relationship we enjoy with our partners and buyers.

“Our partners believe in our brand and our team. And we also have clubs to arrange all kinds of activities to invite our users to join us. This strategy is working.”

Aside from the UAE, where else is the brand particularly strong at the moment, and which markets are you focused on next?

“JETOUR had already covered more than 100 countries and regions. [Aside from the UAE], we’re doing well in the Middle East in general – including Bahrain, Oman, and Iraq – and in Africa.

“We lead our market segment in Egypt, and we are also growing at a fast rate in South Africa. We are number two in Peru in the SUV segment, and Malaysia is also a very important market,” Chuandeng told us.

“Every market is very important. [But] our next focus is on markets we are not operating in yet. For example, Australia.

“We’re getting ready for that. And we’re aiming for Q1 of next year in Australia.”

So do you have different strategies for the different markets, or is your approach more unified globally?

“Our global strategy is Travel+, which is the same everywhere. Then we have different designs for different markets,” Chuandeng explained.

“For example, for some markets, we have to set up a subsidiary company to operate and understand the market.”

From the Global Innovation Day, which technology are you most proud of and why?

“As we mentioned during our JETOUR Global Technology Experience Day, we mainly focus on three main technologies. The first one, the AiMOGA, embodied AI robotics initiatives and physical AI applications – in other words, physical products powered by AI.

“The second one is to integrate the PV storage and charging technology, and the third one is Robotaxi technology,” Chuandeng announced.

“Robotaxis are very popular right now. Even in Wuhan, we have some demo cars. And this’ll be our main focus for the future.

“We are also focused on off-roading technology. For example, today some of our guests will experience the G700, which we can sail in the water.”

What features do you believe all cars should have?

We are at JETOUR Global Technology Experience Day, where the key words are ‘global’ and ‘technology’, so our next question was obvious: what technological features should all cars, globally, have?

“Technology is advancing very rapidly. [But if we had to pick a few], the first one has to be intelligent driving,” Chuandeng prefaced.

“For example, my G700 in China [has] intelligent driving systems. So, every day, I don’t need to control my cars. I just deal with my daily work, from parking to parking, from my house parking to the company’s parking lot.

“Also, [we need] smart cockpits, because now everybody is talking about AI, and hopefully next year we can integrate AI into our cars.

“We also want cars to be more than cars. Flying cars, cars that can sail. And last but not least, we want cleaner cars. China is ahead when it comes to clean energy cars.”
