Jetstar’s final flight after 21 years of operation just became the most emotional moment the airport has ever seen as the Customer Service Manager reads a lovely speech to passengers.
After beginning operations in 2004 as a low-cost subsidiary of Qantas Airways, Jetstar Asia operated a fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft, but as of the 31st July, the airline ceased operation.
On the last Jetstar Asia flight, a three-hour and 40-minute flight from Manila to Singapore, Jetstar’s Customer Service Manager, Norazman Sapiie, spoke to passengers and other members of the Jetstar Asia crew.
The emotional speech thanked passengers for sharing their journeys, vacations, hellos, and goodbyes with the Jetstar Asia crew on behalf of Captain Mark Yeo.

Jetstar’s final flight was an emotional moment
After 21 years of operation, the low-budget version of Qantas Airways, Jetstar Asia, has finished operating as of the 31st July, 2025, with no more Jetstar planes in the air anymore.
Instead of ending the operation without a word, Jetstar’s Customer Service Manager, Norazman Sapiie, spoke to passengers on the last ever Jetstar flight.
The last ever flight lasted three hours and 40 minutes, and flew between Manila and Singapore.
Sapiie’s speech thanked both passengers and crew for not only filling seats, but filling their hearts.
He said, “Thank you for letting us be part of your journeys, your holidays, your reunions, your beginnings, and your goodbyes.”

They were greeted with cheers at the arrival hall
Once the Airbus A320 flight landed in Singapore, the crew was greeted by cheers and applause in the Arrival Hall, with celebrants holding orange balloons and banners.
21 years of flights ended in cheers and celebration, showing us that even though flights have been sadly grounded, the spirit of Jetstar Asia lives on.
As we say goodbye to Jetstar Asia, we must remember Sapiie’s closing words remind us that ‘in Jetstar Asia, there is always love’.
