Joe Rogan just bought himself a new Tesla Model S Plaid modified by a tuning company in Texas.
Unplugged Performance, the Lone Star State-based company behind this build, calls it the ‘S-Apex’.
There’s a lot of carbon fiber, but other than that, the car looks discreet.
It wasn’t cheap, though.

Joe Rogan’s Tesla Model S is surprisingly subtle
Among other things, Joe Rogan’s Tesla features a 19-piece carbon fiber widebody kit and forged monoblock wheels.
The interior was overhauled as well, with quilted leather upholstery, in white, with black and blue accents.

The Texas-based shop didn’t say a single word about the engine, which presumably means nothing was done to it.
Then again the Model S Plaid is plenty fast enough as it is.
The record-breaking Tesla Model S Plaid does 0-60MPH in well under 2 seconds.
It’s also faster than cars purpose-built for the quarter-mile run, like the Hellcat Plymouth Barracuda and a 2000HP Lambo.

One more thing we can say about it is that it probably wasn’t cheap.
The price tag attached wasn’t disclosed, but the Model S Plaid starts at just under $100,000. These mods, though, are worth at least an extra $50,000 – if not more.
Joe Rogan’s car collection is actually impressive
People know Joe Rogan for his podcast or maybe from his days as a UFC commentator, but the guy is also a bona fide gearhead.
His car collection comprises vehicles that you can only buy if you’re actually know what you’re doing.
For example, he owns at least three Porsche 911s, and those are anything but ordinary.

He owns a Shark Werks Porsche 997 911 GT3 RS, another 911 modified by Gunther Werks Porsche, and a 1993 Porsche 964 911 RS America.
He also owns a variety of American trucks, including the Ford Bronco and a monstrous, tuned Ford Raptor, which he took delivery of on his birthday last year.
Whatever you think about the podcaster, you can’t deny he’s built a pretty impressive car collection.
