We’ve seen our fair share of pimped-out cars over the years, but never a taxi.

British automotive fashion house Kahn has teamed up with the manufacturer of London taxis to create this customized taxi, and it looks like a Rolls-Royce inside.

In 2017, the London Taxi Company commissioned Kahn to produce the ‘Last of Line’ edition from the final five units of the iconic TX4 taxi to leave the production line.

Now Kahn has taken on the next-generation, electronically-powered TX5.

The example pictured is in British racing green but according to Kahn, the ‘Fairelady’ edition’s also available in blue, silver, gray and, of course, black.

Its exterior enhancements include a vented Maybach-inspired front grille and front valance allowing optional color highlights.

The roof spoiler has been designed to allow further color-splitting, while it also features specially designed monoblock forged and machined lightweight alloy wheels, in a staggered 18″ front and 19″ rear fitment.

At the push of a button, the Farelady edition’s ‘VIP’ roof light is illuminated, which Kahn says “signals the journey of a user sign clientele towards hotels, restaurants, or any other exclusive venue.”

Step inside and there’s deep, soft carpet and Bugatti Chiron-inspired quilted seats, which give the vehicle a supercar touch.

The headliner is even scattered with starlights, something more familiar in Rolls-Royce vehicles.

Kahn says the lights are in addition to “other sophisticated design touches including soft perforated, breathable leather, all showcasing British craftsmanship and opulence.”

On top of the comfort upgrades, there are technological changes, too, including wireless phone charging, switchable LED lighting, and USB charging points.

Basically, everything you’d expect from a vehicle designed with the most discerning clientele in mind.

Farelady edition price

Kahn’s Farelady edition taxi is priced from $143,511 (based on current exchange rate) and can be ordered in left or right-hand drive.
