As it turns out, the CEO of a hypercar company that makes vehicles worth seven figures – Koenigsegg – drives an incredibly humble and cheap city car on a daily basis.
With our Sherlock Holmes cap on, we’re going to go ahead and assume that’s because he wants to keep a low profile.
Koenigseggs are a lot of things – but discreet isn’t one of them.
But he’s actually not alone because several other people in his position do the exact same thing.

This is probably further proof that he’s a true car lover
Christian von Koenigsegg, founder and CEO of Koenigsegg, took to Instagram to reveal his daily driver.
The CEO of the hypercar company is apparently very fond of his… Toyota.
Still, this is no ordinary Toyota.
This is the Toyota GR Yaris, which, using a term that’s no longer particularly popular these days, can be described as a ‘hot hatch’.
The GR Yaris is the ‘hot’ version of the Yaris.
Translated, it looks like a normal Yaris, but it has over 200hp, and it can keep up with cars that are much more expensive and flashy.
Christian von Koenigsegg isn’t the first high-profile CEO to do this
Not every billionaire CEO in the world wants to drive a pink hypercar while wearing two gold watches – one for each wrist.
Some of these CEOs tend to keep a low profile.
Mate Rimac, founder of Rimac and CEO of Bugatti-Rimac, uses a relatively old and unassuming BMW as his daily driver.
Steve Jobs’ daily driver was also relatively discreet.

Mark Zuckerberg is on the same page: he drives a $100,000 Cadillac Blackwing.
That’s almost what you’d call ‘cheap’ for a man worth $223 billion.
Some people take this to an extreme level, though.
Warren Buffett, one of the world’s richest men, drives a dented Cadillac that’s over 10 years old.
