The largest fleet of Rolls-Royce luxury cars in Europe doesn’t belong to a billionaire, but in fact belongs to a funeral service.
You might expect a large fleet of luxury cars to be the plaything of the super-rich, but a UK-based funeral service actually has the largest Rolls-Royce fleet, giving friends and family the chance to give their loved ones a fitting send-off.
A.W. Lymn has a range of cars in its garage, including modern cars like the Phantom VI and Phantom VII, plus some classics from Rolls-Royce’s past.
The company’s history goes back over 100 years, and it ensures its own cars stand out from the rest.

The Rolls-Royce fleet stands out from other luxury cars
A.W. Lymn is a family-run company and has been in business since 1907.
To make sure its cars stand out, all of the Rolls-Royces are painted in a sleek silver.
This is a contrast to the usual black you would associate with a funeral director.
The cars are bespoke hearses, and each has to go to Germany for weight testing.

They are all converted and customized by the Italian company Biemme Special Cars.
All of the testing means that the cars comply with every rule and regulation they must follow.
Standard Rolls-Royce cars are also part of the fleet to transport family members.
The funeral service has other luxury cars
Rolls-Royce isn’t the only brand that the company uses.
Other cars include those from Bentley and Mercedes-Benz, as well as bespoke offerings like a Land Rover Defender.
It even has an old London Taxi in its fleet.
A.W. Lymn has its own in-house team that maintains the luxury cars, keeping them in fine working order.
If you want something a bit less flashy, then there are other vehicles available, too.

The company has a fleet of classic cars ranging from a Rolls-Royce 25/30 limousine to a Phantom IV.
These provide a slightly classier, more traditional way for families to say goodbye to loved ones.
As you would expect, the older cars have always been a popular choice for families and customers.
Remarkably, a family-run business is in fact the holder of the largest fleet of Rolls-Royce cars in the world.
