New images have fallen through the cracks that show an Alfa Romeo supercar.

The images show a supercar that almost was something great but never actually came to fruition.

The Italian car brand is known to produce powerhouses.

This concept is no different – and really could have been special.

Alfa Romeo has a seriously cool fleet of cars under their belt

Having made cars for over a century, Alfa Romeo is responsible for some very cool vehicles.

From the 1900, to the Spider, and the Giulia, the Italian marque knows a thing or two about automotive beauty.

It ended its internal combustion era with the powerhouse that was the 33 Stradale – which sure did make a beautiful symphony to end the V6 era.

And, they even ditched long-standing iconic tradition with the new Giulia coupe, too.

However, new drawings have come to light regarding an Alfa supercar that never was.

Images show an Alfa Romeo supercar concept for the ages

The images mysteriously appeared online and show us something we’ve never seen from the marque before.

They reveal detailed insight into the 33 Stradale and offer a way for motor enthusiasts to reimagine both the inside and outside of the car.

Sadly though, it isn’t a brand new concept, it actually dates back to October 2022.

So you could say that it is somewhat of a relic when it comes to the advanced world of auto design.

What do the drawings actually show?

Well, Krystyna Perry, the head of Alfa’s PR told Motor1 that they represent the iconic Stradale right at the very start of its journey to the shop floor.

According to Motor 1, the model was patented ‘in accordance’ with company procedure at that time.

“The procedure involves patenting the style of a project to protect the uniqueness of its design.

“Our process establishes a two-year duration for design patents, and upon expiration, we evaluate whether to renew them or not. Once the patent expires, the images can be made public,” they said.

The car in the drawings has no badge on but does bear a few similarities to parts of the Alfa Romeo fleet.

So, although exciting, it shows nothing brand new in the works and was instead left behind as the editing process moved to the next step.

It is impressive though, you have to admit.

What features does the 33 Stradale have?

The iconic red car is instantly recognizable from the shiny shell and curved cabin.

But underneath the hood magic really does happen.

In fact, the 33 Stradale’s petrol version was made complete with a 620HP 3.0-liter V6 twin-turbo engine.

It could pump out some power too – reaching a top speed of 207MPH (333KMH).

Plus, it could even reach 0-62MPH in just three seconds – impressive right?

There was also an electric version with an estimated range of 280 miles which was unveiled almost two years ago.

So, the leaked drawings were not to be – but at least the concept provides a bit of history, right?
