One of the extremely rare legendary V12 Bugatti EB110 supercars spent 17 years in the royal collection of the Emir of Kuwait, but after being sold in 2023, the beautiful trademark vehicle is back on the road and thriving.

Although supercars are often kept as trophies to be resold in years to come, many models thrive on the road.

One of those is the iconic Bugatti EB110, which kick-started the brand’s switch to high-powered supercars.

But after one was left to grow tired, it was given a second chance at life after receiving a wild restoration and carbon upgrade.

This V12 Bugatti EB110 GT spent 17 years disintegrating in a royal fleet

The Bugatti EB110 is one of the most iconic supercars of all time, paving the way for the Veyron and Chiron that we adore today, despite the hardships that fell on the brand during its production.

As a legend of the industry, heads always turn when the limited units appear on the auction block.

One such model is chassis 073, which was once owned by Sheikh Nasser Mohammed Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Emir of Kuwait, for 17 years.

The royal fleet includes a massive range of adored supercars, but when the V12 Bugatti EB110 popped out of the garage, it was clear to see it’d had little time outside.

It had just over 4,000 miles on the clock, but the powertrain showed some deterioration, and the bodywork had begun to rust.

In 2023, it was auctioned off to a new owner, and the undisclosed winning bid put the supercar in the hands of someone who wanted a full restoration.

So it went to the famed specialists Art and Revs in Luxembourg, who stripped the car naked and rebuilt it from the ground up.

The price of the job hasn’t been revealed, but the final product screams, ‘I’m expensive’.

Every panel of the bodywork has been upgraded and brought back to life, and it looks sublime.

Since being restored, the fabled V12 Bugatti EB110 has made two public appearances, the first at The Quail, during Monterey Car Week, and again at Rétromobile Paris in 2025.

Now, the car is being sold on by the owner, through Art and Revs, and again, there’s no price attached.

But if previous sales are anything to go by, they’ll be in for a pretty penny.
