In a bid to find out which of the land vehicles is the quickest, this ultimate drag race saw a Lotus supercar, a ‘super’ Kawasaki bike, a Red Bull F1 car, a private jet, and an F16 fighter jet go head-to-head.
Each vehicle is designed for different reasons.
A plane is obviously the fastest mode of transportation on thousand-mile trips, while if you want to nip through a dirt track, you’re going to need a bike of sorts.
But which is the fastest in a sprint? Well, this ultimate drag race was sure to find out.

The ultimate drag race with the fastest vehicles on the planet
We’re no strangers to witnessing supercar drag races – most recently, we saw a ferocious Ferrari Daytona SP3 Revuelto take on the beastly Pagani Huayra Roadster in a $11,000,000 thriller.
Even bikes vs supercars is quite a common race.
But throw in a private jet, an F16 fighter jet, and a Red Bull F1 car, and then we’ve never seen the kind.
That was until Teknofest ran these seven vehicles head-to-head on the Istanbul airstrip in an ultimate drag race.
The vehicles of choice were a Tesla P100DL, an Aston Martin Vanquish, a Lotus supercar, a Kawasaki Ninja H2R motorcycle, an F16 fighter jet, and a Challenger 605 private jet.

So, who won?
Well, quite shockingly, the drag race went in favour of the Kawasaki Ninja H2R motorcycle, ridden by Supersport World Champion Kenan Sofuoglu, as it pipped the Red Bull F1 car to the line.
Despite having a top speed of 1,500 mph, the best that the F16 could do was a bronze medal, while the Tesla was the quickest of the supercars.
The Kawasaki bike reigns supreme in drag races
Not only has the Kawasaki bike knocked down these giants, but it’s also been a dominant force against quicker supercars than the Lotus – after all, considering the short distance and need for good acceleration, a car was always going to be its closest rival here.
Notably, the beastly bike has run a course against a Bugatti, impressing over every strip of tarmac.

Maybe we need to introduce a third competitor, though, as a Formula E machine – quicker off the mark than the Red Bull F1 car – recently showcased dominance over the fastest animal in the world.
Maybe that will be the upgrade from the Lotus supercar we need to put the four-wheeled vehicles back on the map.
