Toyota is a car brand known for creating all manner of vehicles.
From daily drivers to sports cars, its fleet is incredibly varied.
For example, the Toyota Le Mans hydrogen concept was a 200MPH move against electric supercars.
Plus, the brand is even considering selling a compact pick-up truck in America, too.
But one YouTuber decided to push a Toyota Sera to its limits and make it a speedy little ride.
YouTuber Jack McNeill decided to take on the project to make the vehicle a sheer powerhouse.
And after adding some expensive handling modifications and making changes to the engine, it was finally time to test all the hard work that was put into the car.
Jack then decided to do a number of power runs to see how much horsepower the Toyota Sera could pump out at once, by slowly increasing the boost for each one.

On the first power run, the level was set at 0.4 bar of boost, with the run managing to produce a whopping 198HP.
And, after that success, the only way was up.
On the second run, the boost was increased to a level of 0.5 bar of boost, with the car then ramping up to 215HP, which was no mean feat.

Then on the third run, with a boost of 0.65, the horsepower that the car managed to produce reached a mighty 251, which they said:
“For an engine of this size is absolutely crazy. The bottom line is that the engine is overperforming.
“We did several power runs, and we gradually increased the boost from 0.4 bar all the way up to 0.65.
“They’ve said it’s one of the best-performing non-forged engines they’ve seen here, which is crazy to think we built that and it is working well,” he continued.
One subsequent horsepower test was decided on to push the fastest Toyota to its limits, and it got to 260HP, which was absolutely wild.

The car’s power-to-weight ratio was impressive at just 930kg, which was close to that of a Lamborghini Urus.
