This man is building a $657,495 Ferrari from Temu parts, and it’s been hailed as one of the best transformations people have seen.

YouTuber Chris Slix is no stranger to ambitious car restoration projects.

He’d been working on building this Ferrari from Temu parts for quite some time, but the end was getting close.

And his viewers were delighted with the results.

Building a $657,495 Ferrari from Temu parts

Slix has form when it comes to working on cars using parts from Temu.

You may recall his long-running saga with his McLaren, which had plenty of issues from overheating to breaking down during its first test drive.

He’d secured the Ferrari for 50 percent off from Copart salvage, and gone through the work of repairing its body.

The final stages of the build included a bod-kit installation, a repaint, and a suspension overhaul.

He put the body kit on after stripping the car down, and it looked okay – but not anywhere near completion.

The finish wasn’t what it should have been, either, and the paint felt wrong.

In short, it didn’t feel like a Ferrari.

There was only one thing for it – a full repaint.

The finishing touches on this car that tied it together

Slix and his team took the car along to a McLaren-approved shop, where they chose Rosso Magma, a rare and expensive multi-layer Ferrari red.

Because if you want a car to feel like a bona fide Ferrari, you go with red.

When the car came out on the other side, the reactions were the best as you could hope for.

Some even felt it looked like a Ferrari that rolled straight out of the factory.

People in the comments section shared this sentiment.

“Dude, that reveal was probably the best thing I’ve seen you guys do,” one person wrote.

“Epic job, Chris, my favorite build yet,” another fan commented.

However, Slix couldn’t keep hold of it now that it was done.

“That is a lot of money tied up in one car, and quite frankly, I can’t afford it,” he said.

“As much as it would be my childhood dream to be able to drive around in a Ferrari all the time, I don’t think the time’s right.”

It was decided he would sell it – and he opened up to any interested parties.
