A YouTuber bought a wrecked Audi R8 supercar for a cheap price before rebuilding it in just 24 hours.

YouTuber Danny Z has always wanted a supercar, and upon finding the Audi R8 at a Copart auction, fixing it in just 24 hours was always going to be a tough challenge.

The front of the car had a lot of damage, and amazingly, the Audi had no proof that it was ever on the road.

But undeterred, Danny Z attempted to get it back on the road again, and somehow, he made the impossible happen.

Getting the wrecked Audi R8 on the road was a challenge

Throughout the 40-minute video, there were several challenges with the Audi supercar.

One thing that wasn’t a challenge was getting it to start, as the R8 easily fired up into life.

That revealed that it had an aftermarket exhaust that produced an amazing sound.

However, there was clearly an awful lot of damage to repair on the car.

One thing Danny Z had to do was scan the car for error codes to make sure there was nothing seriously wrong with it.

Thankfully, a quick test revealed that despite the crash damage, the Audi’s powertrain was in good order.

Some engine work was needed, including the removal of the old spark plugs and replacing them with new ones.

Did the Audi get back on the road successfully?

To cut a long story short, yes, Danny Z did get the Audi R8 supercar back on the road again!

Some of the other orbits that needed attention are ones we normally would gloss over.

Little details such as the wing mirrors and the carpets inside, as well as other parts of the interior.

Yet after 24 hours of hard work, the YouTuber was able to get the Audi back on the road again.

Not only did the car sound good, but it also looked good.

The R8 first came onto the scene in 2006, and production finished in March 2024.

It is a supercar that many miss in a big way, although it might return in 2027.

Even though he has had to fix this one up, Danny Z is very lucky to own such an amazing supercar.
