One of the wildest homemade cockpits ever made has been showcased, as a fighter jet simulator in a garage is topped with turbines, a launcher, and an aircraft machine gun.

Sim racing kits have gotten quite wild lately, recreating Formula 1 race car cockpits.

But never has anyone made anything that fully resembles being behind the throttle of a fighter jet and placed it in their garage.

Well, this man now has, and flames literally erupt from this sim kit’s exhaust pipes.

Chinese fighter jet simulator kit is the wildest ever

Building simulation kits is quite an expensive hobby to have, especially when some racecar set-ups end up more expensive than real supercars.

But more people are taking advantage of the tech and games like Microsoft’s Flight Simulator to see what it would be like to pilot a plane.

Most opt for a nice cruise through the air in a Boeing 747.

But not this man. Known as ‘blyat’, the Chinese tech wiz has made a full-fledged fighter jet simulator, boasting flame-shooting turbines and a fake machine gun that sends vibrations down his spine.

The kit, built in his garage, has an extremely volatile seat that throws him around like a rodeo bull.

But when the thrusters get pushed down, flames shoot out of the seat.

And when the fighter jet simulator puts another plane in his crosshairs, the fake machine gun rocks him to the core, as if it were firing off real rounds. There’s even a muzzle flash.

The kit was highlighted on Reddit, where the content creator was spotted having the time of his life. You can watch the video at the top of this article.

It’s a good job that his neighbours are chill.

Cockpit sim kits are a thing of beauty

This isn’t the only awesome flight simulator cockpit, though.

One person has taken a Boeing nose from a scrapyard to extend their house with a simulator.

Another has simply transformed an entire abandoned plane into a virtual reality game.

Of course, there are also high military-grade simulators, too – anyone who has seen Tom Hanks star in Sully will be familiar with that.

But as far as homemade kits go, blyat takes the crown.

He just might have no body hair left by the time he touches back down to reality.
