The man who bought his dream Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale blind took it on a seven-month restoration journey and ended up with a beautiful result.
YouTuber Seen Through Glass bought his Ferrari blind through an online auction.
Experts noticed that the car had some corrosion.
Given that they were going to be re-spraying 70 percent of the car, they asked if he wanted the whole thing redoing – and he accepted.

This guy’s dream Ferrari needed months of work
When Sam, the host of Seen Through Glass, was offered the chance to respray his Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale, he was also given the opportunity to change the color.
We know what you’re thinking – isn’t that practically blasphemy in the world of Ferraris?
After all, when you think of a Ferrari, you think of the color red.

But Sam explained why changing the color wasn’t such a radical decision.
“Now you’re surely thinking ‘Hold on, Sam, surely changing the color of the Challenge is detrimental to its future value,'” he said.
“You’re probably right. But let me reiterate – this is one of my all-time dream cars.
“I have no plans to sell it unless I’m forced to do so, and then I’m not really thinking about future value.”
For Sam, owning a Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale has long been a goal of his.

“I’ve dreamed of owning one for a long time,” he admitted.
“And in that time, I’ve thought of how amazing it must have been back in 2004/2005 to spec up your own Stradale.
“What color to do it in, what interior to choose, things like that. And suddenly, I had that opportunity in front of me.
“So I thought ‘Heck, I’ve got to dive in with two feet,'” he explained.
When it’s put like that, it does sound like an opportunity you couldn’t pass up.
So how did the car look?
The color was now a Rosso Mugello, a darker shade of red used by Ferrari.

Inside and out, this car was a knockout, with Sam describing the deep blue interior as ‘sensational’.
“It’s got me in the feels a little bit,” he admitted.
“I’ve got to stand back and take it all in – it’s spectacular.”
We completely agree with his assessment – this is a magnificent restoration.
It’s always nice when an owner gets the car of their dreams
We love it when somebody is matched up with their dream car, particularly when it’s a Ferrari.
One man in North Carolina waited for 34 years to get his hands on a 308 GTSi, before securing it through an eBay auction.
Then there was Michael Jordan’s long-lost Ferrari, which spent 15 years in hiding.
Being reunited with a car is always special.
But when it’s The Prancing Horse itself, it’s all the more thrilling.
