This guy in Kansas created a backwards truck and wanted to drive it to Texas, but he got pulled over about two minutes into the journey.
He made a bet that he could drive from Wichita, Kansas to Texas without being pulled over.
Well, he lost that bet.
And after one look at this backwards truck, we’re not one bit surprised.

Why this guy built the backwards truck
YouTuber Westen Champlin built a backwards truck precisely because he wanted to see how the police would react.
Put simply, his DIY truck features a cabin at the back, and the truck bed (which is where the engine is located) at the front.
Built using an old RAM, the truck looks super weird, especially when it’s moving.
Champlin wanted to take the truck to Texas from Wichita, Kansas – that’s a 250-mile drive assuming he just wanted to get across the state line in the northern part of Lone Star State.

He made a bet with a friend that he’d be able to complete the road trip without being pulled over.
Well, it didn’t go well considering he got pulled over about two minutes after setting off.
However, interestingly, the cops pulled him over simply because A, they knew Champlin and they sort of assumed the weird truck would be his and B, they were just curious to check the truck out and take a couple of pictures.
The pinnacle of DIY
Champlin’s backwards truck is one of the strangest-looking vehicles we’ve seen, but it’s not the only one.
The slimmest car in the world and the fake Ferrari that somebody turned into a stretch limo certainly deserve a mention.
But the (symbolic) award must go to the DIY monster this guy built using a VW engine, a Humvee and a tractor.
It has three wheels, one of which is the cabin.
Make it make sense.
