He sold his Cadillac concept car for a measly $15k

This YouTuber had a beautiful white Cadillac Escalade that he believed he’d got for an absolute bargain.

In order to buy the Escalade, he’d sold his 2003 Ford Mustang Mach 1 and his 1999 Cadillac El Dorado.

He thought that he would get more money for the 1999 Cadillac El Dorado, but there was limited buyer interest and it had a reputation for being unreliable and suffering from electrical issues.

The YouTuber, Tyler Hoover of Hoovie’s Garage divulged that he didn’t get many offers on the Cadillac concept car and the ones he did get were low.

Because of this, he eventually settled for $15k.

The dealer flipped it for a massive profit

Tyler was even more disappointed by the cadillac concept car’s resale value when he saw that the dealer had listed and sold it for $55k, making the dealer a cool $40k profit.

Despite loving his new Cadillac Escalade, the bad trade associated with it had tarnished the whole experience, he said.

Tyler said he was keen to do some work to recoup some of that lost money.

He said he was going to work extra hard to restore other cars in his garage to try and make up the money he lost in his bad trade.

Nevertheless, it left him feeling like he got the short end of the deal, because he absolutely did.
