This budget truck was snapped up for Alibaba, and one EV enthusiast was overjoyed with his new purchase.
The electric truck had working elements and a strong exterior shell, and for just $2,000, it was the perfect buy.
In fact, there ‘was so much to love’ about the electric vehicle that the owner tested out in Florida.
But, due to the low speed and safety features, there was one big warning that came with his new ride.

Alibaba strikes again with a truck delivery
The budget site has been on many gearheads’ radar for a long time, thanks to its abundance of cheap accessories and add-ons for vehicles.
Now, though, people can purchase whole cars, trucks, and bikes that can actually be driven, and after this buy, you’ll be shocked.
“Overall, I’m really impressed,” said the creator behind EbikeSchool.com as he toured around his new electric truck.
Despite a shaky start, the truck wasn’t half bad.

From working windows to even a Bluetooth infotainment system, the truck could give a standard brand model a run for its money.
When he took it for a drive, even though the suspension and parking brakes left a lot to be desired, it was clear that the electric Alibaba truck was in working condition.

As with any risky online purchase, there were a few imperfect aspects, such as some rusting and the welding of the truck could have been neater, but for such a low price, it was a success.
“There is so much here to love,” he continued.
With a top speed of 25 miles per hour, a two-speed gear system, working blinkers, 50-70 miles of range, and the space to seat two people, it really was the ultimate budget truck.
The gearhead shared a big warning despite his budget success
Now, even though the electric Alibaba truck was better than he expected, unfortunately, there was one big catch.
Despite the car being able to take to the road, it actually wasn’t street legal, so even though it only cost $2,000, he can drive on his land, but not the highway.
“Unfortunately, no, you’re not allowed to drive it on the street,” he explained.
So if you’re thinking about buying one, you have been warned.

But, for small trips across the property to grab mail, the electric truck was the perfect choice, despite some improvements that could be made.
Overall, with shipping costs, add-ons, upgrades, and other subsequent costs, the Alibaba purchase ended up costing the creator around $7,950.
But hey, at least his experience was positive, and his new ride can be utilized to the max, all for less than the cost of a golf cart.
