Formula 1 World Champion Max Verstappen recently got himself a brand-new private jet to get him to races and back home.
However, if you wondered what happened to his old one, it’s recently cropped up for sale on AvBuyer.
The private jet dealership is selling the jet for North America and Canada, and it still bears some of Verstappen’s custom livery.
The 2008 Dassault jet’s listing says the company is open to offers, although it’s probably beyond the budget of quite a few of us!

The ex-Verstappen jet is a 2008 Dassault Falcon
Verstappen flew in his old airplane for a number of years – it’s a 2008 Dassault Falcon 900EX.
The jet was registered as PH-DTF, visible in the listing photos and identifying the jet as Verstappen’s.
The DTF stands for a playful ‘Down to Fly’ and the aircraft still features some of the champion’s original livery.

When operated by Verstappen, the aircraft had large orange stripes around the cockpit.
The Dassault also had his lion logo on the tailfin and further orange accenting.
Orange is, of course, the Dutch national color, and his home race at Zandvoort is awash with orange every year.
The listing reveals the lion’s logo and other orange accents are gone, but one large stripe remains.
Verstappen’s old private jet is very well-equipped
Unsurprisingly, Verstappen made sure his jet was well equipped to get him between Grand Prix.
An HD TV, USB chargers, and a Blu-Ray player were just some of the features on the jet.
There was talk in 2023 that the Red Bull driver was installing a simulator into the jet, but he laughed them off and said that wasn’t the case.
He did, though, install a simulator in a new motorhome he bought for traveling around Europe.
The Dassault Falcon 900EX has three Honeywell TFE731-60 engines powering it, and it is still in immaculate condition.
The reigning F1 World Champion upgraded his transport in 2025, opting for a 2023 Dassault Falcon 8X.
It’s a larger aircraft, allowing for more space for Verstappen, his family, and his friends.
As a nod to his slogan, the new jet has the registration PH-UTL, standing for ‘Unleash the Lion.’
