This McDonnell Douglas DC-9 pilot pulled off an incredible maneuver at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport in Alaska.

Originally cleared for landing on Runway 7, the freighter (which used to be operated by NASA, by the way) was suddenly rerouted to Runway 33 due to a ‘traffic jam’ caused by a 747.

Rather than going around, the DC-9 crew decided to execute a sharp left turn onto Runway 33, which was spectacular to watch.
