This man has revealed his incredible McLaren 650S redesign, which included an LS swap, adding a shark fin, and making it spit fire, because there’s literally nothing more intimidating than fire or sharks.

The concept artist has achieved something that many don’t, which is being able to make the cars he’s dreamed up into the real thing.

He created the car for Sultan Al-Qassimi, exaggerating all the McLaren P1 influences on the supercar, while putting his own spin on it.

The custom McLaren redesign is apparently still only in its prototype and development stages, according to the creator, so it’s still rough around the edges, but we think it looks pretty amazing.

The amazing redesign of the McLaren 650S

There is nothing like a McLaren 650S supercar. It’s pure speed mixed with pure class, but this custom redesign just takes it to another level.

Created by concept artist Khyzyl Saleem, the custom McLaren was dubbed the 650-KS, and it’s the coolest concept we have ever seen.

The designer shared a teaser on Instagram, eventually dropping pictures of the real thing and people are going crazy for it.

Saleem is the story of a concept artist’s dream come true. So many people’s designs never make it to fruition, but the McLaren 650-KS is real and it looks good.

Add fire and shark fins to make it even cooler

After its real-life debut at OFFSET2025, the designer showed off the amazing supercar on Instagram.

Designed for Sultan Al-Qassimi, the baseline McLaren 650S has been made to look almost cyberpunk in design. It also has widened wheel arches, but keeps the McLaren touches in the front, and exaggerates them.

The supercar redesign also comes with a rear glass cover that looks like a shark fin, making it look all the more menacing.

Most importantly, the McLaren features an LS V8 swap and now looks like a McLaren, but with the iconic Chevy rumble, a powerful combination.

The cherry on the top of the scariest cake ever is the fire that spits from the upturned exhaust pipes.

Saleem says that his fire-breathing shark is still in the prototype and testing stage. We think it looks perfect just as it is.

But we can’t wait to see what the final product will look like.
