McLaren has launched the new 750S Le Mans Edition supercar, which delivers some serious downforce upgrades.

The British racing team and manufacturer is currently celebrating the 30th anniversary of its win at the Le Mans 24 Hours.

That came in 1995 with the McLaren F1, and the company will return to the top class of endurance racing in 2027 with a new Le Mans Hypercar (LMH).

To mark the occasion, this special edition of the 750S has been launched, and it boasts some interesting upgrades over the standard supercar.

The main feature of the 750S special edition supercar is its new High Downforce Kit (HDK).

This kit has been developed by McLaren Special Operations (MSO) and includes a few interesting additions.

The kit has a raised carbon fiber active rear spoiler, which also features integrated end plates.

A new carbon front bumper is also added, which includes a larger carbon splitter.

The company says that this new setup adds 10 per cent of extra downforce to the supercar over the standard 750S.

Other additions include a carbon fiber roof scoop, carbon front fenders with black louvers, and new titanium exhaust finishers.

McLaren will make the new edition of the 750S available in two different colors.

One is McLaren Orange, the other is Le Mans Grey.

The Le Mans Grey option is similar to that of the F1 GT car that won Le Mans in 1995.

Completing the aesthetics are the five-spoke Le Mans wheels.

These have a ‘stealth’ finish as well as Le Mans branding.

Customers can also choose between two interior themes.

The first is Carbon Black Alcantara with Jet Black leather and Dove Grey Alcantara.

The second of the two is Carbon Black Alcantara with Jet Black Softgrain Leather and McLaren Orange Alcantara.

Le Mans-branded floor mats, debossed headrest branding, and a dedication plaque are also found inside.

Like the standard 750S, the supercar comes with a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine.

The V8 produces 730hp and 590lb-ft of torque.

If you want to celebrate McLaren’s racing past and future, then act fast, as only 50 of these will ever be made.
