A new McLaren Le Mans hypercar, named Project Endurance, is on the way for 2027, but any of the lucky multi-millionaires who can afford to put their orders in are being gifted a front-row seat to its creation.
The marque is winning on all fronts in 2025.
Formula One, topped. Latest W1 Hypercar, primed and ready. First on every account. Except for Le Mans and the endurance tests.
But that’s where Project Endurance comes in, as the marque has officially announced the new hypercar that will compete in the 24-hour race, and its potential new owners are getting all the bonuses.

It was the Italian reds who came out and dominated the hypercar sector in Le Mans, as the 1,200HP Ferrari F80 stole the show.
And with more competitors gearing up to take over, such as the new Toyota liquid-hydrogen GR LH2 and Genesis’ hybrid GMR-001, the maker is pushing the boat out to monopolize both Endurance and racing.
The McLaren 750S Le Mans edition was given some serious improvements, but it looks like the marque is shifting focus to 2027 with ‘Project Endurance’.

Known only as Project Endurance for now, the new McLaren Le Mans Hypercar was unveiled on June 14, taking a F1-style approach to its design akin to the Porsche 963.
The car has been announced for the 2027 Endurance Championship, meaning it will have two more years of development.
In that time, its new multi-millionaire owners who pre-order the McLaren Le Mans Hypercar will get front-row seats to its development.
“Customers will have full behind-the-scenes access to the upcoming McLaren Racing LMDh programme, key team personnel and drivers – and become a part of McLaren Endurance Racing’s story.
“Each owner will receive driver coaching from a race professional, with individual pit crew and race engineers supporting throughout,” the British maker said in a press release.

McLaren will be hoping to still be on pole in Formula 1 by the time that the hypercar comes out, giving them a shot at the ‘triple crown’ of Le Mans, Indianapolis 500, and the Monaco Grand Prix 2027.
