Paul Walker's daughter Meadow raffles off her dad's Toyota Supra and every single dollar it makes is going to an incredible cause

Meadow Walker, daughter of Fast & Furious icon Paul Walker, has auctioned off her father’s Toyota Supra.

And yep, that’s the Toyota Supra inspired by the one you may have seen in the movie Furious 7.

To be more accurate, the car was offered with a raffle.

And even though the amount it ‘sold’ for wasn’t disclosed, we’re willing to bet it must have been substantial.

The Supra is one of the most iconic Fast & Furious cars ever

Real-life Paul Walker was exactly as crazy about cars as his on-screen character Brian O’Conner.

Through the years, as the franchise grew bigger and Walker gained more ‘editorial’ control over the movies, Walker used a lot of his own cars on screen.

Obviously, mockups and kit cars were used for the crashes and the car chases, but his own cars did get some screen time.

The Supra in question, for example, is the protagonist of one of the most touching scenes in the franchise.

In Furious 7, the production team decided to bid farewell to the character by having him retire away from the action.

In the iconic ‘See You Again’ scene, Brian O’Conner and Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) were seen sharing the road for a while, before driving their own separate ways, literally and metaphorically.

Walker died mid-filming, which meant producers had to superimpose his likeness (using CGI) on his brothers Caleb and Cody.

Caleb – who shared Paul’s height and build – filmed the broader, distant shots, while Cody was used for close-ups thanks to his strikingly similar facial features.

It worked great, partly because of the CGI, but also because Caleb and Cody look a lot like Paul.

The vehicle you see here is a tribute to the original Supra, and it’s currently being raffled off to raise funds for the Paul Walker Foundation.

The car probably broke some records

Most Fast & Furious cars have either set or broken records that were later broken again by more Fast & Furious cars.

Most of the cars were either owned by Walker, or closely associated with his character.

But there a few exceptions, like the Mazda RX-7 driven by Han (Sung Kang) in Tokyo Drift.

As for this Supra, it is an exact replica of the Furious 7 one.

The car was offered with a raffle system that probably generated hundreds of thousands of dollars.

And we say ‘probably’ because the exact amount wasn’t disclosed.

But because all proceeds will go to the Paul Walker Foundation, a non-profit organization launched by Meadow Walker to honor her late father’s passions for ocean conservation and wildlife protection, we’re willing to bet it had a lot of zeros in it.
