This is the new Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 MANUFAKTUR Arctic Silver Edition.

You only get one color option, but you do get an incredible amount of horsepower.

Production is limited.

But the price tag will certainly create one of those ‘if you have to ask’ situations.

Based on the existing GLS 63, the new MANUFAKTUR Arctic Silver Edition is newer, cooler, and more powerful.

The 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 puts out 603 horsepower, sending the power to all four wheels courtesy of a nine-speed automatic.

But the main point of the car is the styling.

The car is finished in Cirrus Silver Magno paint with red accents, and 23-inch matte black AMG forged wheels with red rim accents to complete the package.

The brake calipers are also red.

The GLS 63 MANUFAKTUR also features a new front splitter, a new rear fascia, and new black roof rails, along with dark chrome tailpipes.

The interior follows the same color scheme, with Carmine Red and Black Nappa leather with diamond-quilted seats and red-accented AMG carbon fiber trim.

Production is limited to 450 units, but the price hasn’t been disclosed.

The ‘standard’ GLS 63 starts at around $150,000, but the price tag goes up quite quickly depending on how you spec it.

And this one will probably cost more than any of those options, especially considering only 450 lucky buyers will have the opportunity to buy one.

The thing is, Mercedes-AMG set up the MANUFAKTUR branch of the company to do exactly what Aston Martin is doing with Q or Bentley with Mulliner.

Translated, these cars are designed for people who probably tap their credit card without even looking at the bill.

So in the end no matter how many zeros you add the price, this GLS 63 will no doubt dell out in no time.
