Having a well-documented love for the luxury of a Rolls-Royce, Michael Jackson once left comedian friend Chris Tucker speechless after asking for the keys.
The King of Pop lived a fast life, and matched his on-stage energy with the keys in his garage.
From classic American rides to swanky limos, MJ was always riding from gig to gig in comfort.
But his dearest brand was Rolls-Royce, and not even his close friends could get him to part ways with one supreme car.

Chris Tucker once asked Michael Jackson for his Rolls-Royce
As is the case with all celebrities, Michael Jackson had a taste for nice cars. The same goes for comedian Chris Tucker.
The two were good friends, featuring in the Rock My World music video together, and sharing a bond for pristine vehicles.
But Tucker got his hand bitten by the generous MJ, after taking a liking to his new Rolls.
“He would give you anything if you liked something.
“I was just complimenting a flat screen TV head and he just gave it to me – I was like ‘Michael, I didn’t want the TV’. But then I started liking everything,” Tucker said in an interview on Lopez Tonight.

“After that, I said, ‘Mike, I like that Rolls-Royce, that’s a bad Rolls-Royce.
“He was like, ‘You like it, Chris?’ I said ‘Yeah, I like it’. ‘You sure you like it?’ I said ‘yeah’. He said, ‘Well, you better go buy one because I ain’t giving you my Rolls-Royce, I gave you a TV.’ Damn.”
Jackson loved a Rolls-Royce
Tucker might have been warranted in shooting his shot, but getting MJ to part with a Rolls would have been some accomplishment.
While he had a number of wacky cars in his collection, there were a handful of Rolls-Royces that stood out, such as a Silver Spur II, a Corniche Coupé, and a Phantom VII.
He even designed a Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph stretch limo to be decked out like the Palace of Versailles in France.

As for Chris Tucker, he soon racked up a great set of wheels himself, including a Chevrolet Corvette, which appeared in the movie Rush Hour.
