Michael Jordan proved once again he’s playing in a different league when his private jet, which is worth a jaw-dropping $78 million, was seen landing in Portugal to collect him.

And of course, due to his legendary status and wealth, it wasn’t just any plane.

It was the favorite private jet of many celebrities, a Gulfstream G650ER custom-painted with his iconic Jumpman logo.

Six-time NBA champion Michael Jordan arrived at Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport in Porto, where his silver and black Gulfstream G650ER airplane turned the runway into a luxury runway show.

The aircraft, tail number N236MJ, a nod to his number 23 and six championship rings, is reportedly worth between $70 million and $78 million once the fancy customizations are factored in.

Local media spotted the NBA star disembarking after the aircraft made a smooth landing, with reports suggesting he spent time in the gorgeous cities of Porto, Lisbon, and Faro.

The jet’s unique design mirrors the ‘elephant print’ from his signature Air Jordan sneakers, and

the paint job alone is said to have cost over half a million dollars.

From basketball courts to business empire

Jordan has built an empire far beyond basketball: between his Nike partnership, the Charlotte Hornets deal, and investments across sports and tech, he’s now worth over $3 billion.

Owning one of the world’s most luxurious private jets just cements that status because the Gulfstream G650ER can travel over 7,500 miles without stopping and comfortably seat up to 19 people.

With his latest stop in Portugal, the basketball icon reminded everyone that greatness doesn’t retire – it just flies first class.
