This woman was behind the wheel of a Ford Bronco Sport in Southfield, Michigan, when she unknowingly drifted into a construction zone.

That’s when misjudgment turned into a full-blown lapse in concentration, as the driver-side wheels sank into a patch of freshly laid concrete.

The entire incident was caught on video and shared to Instagram by Metro Detroit News.

When Ford dubbed the Bronco a GOAT (Goes Over Any Type of Terrain), this probably wasn’t what they meant.

But can we really blame the Ford Bronco for this mess in Michigan? We’re not convinced.

The woman managed to wriggle her way out of the concrete jungle without help, but not without consequences – her wheels absolutely caked in concrete.

Here’s hoping she had a pressure washer at home… or at least a very forgiving detailer.

And let’s not forget: concrete is no joke. Once it cures, it’s like trying to chisel your car out of the sidewalk. The longer it sits, the worse it gets.

This two-tonne oopsie is now a problem for a $5.1 million resurfacing project on 12 Mile Road, which sees 23,500 cars a day.

That’s a lot of traffic affected by one detour.

The Oakland County Road Commission had the perfect cheeky response: “This is reason #1201 why road construction takes forever.”

We don’t know what redoing the pour will cost in time and materials, but we’d guess it’s not a five-minute patch job.

It could’ve been worse – no one was hurt, no machinery damaged.

But her tires (and maybe her pride) are definitely paying the price.

The Ford Bronco is built to tackle rugged terrain, but even the best off-roaders have their limits (i.e. concrete).

Sometimes the most unpredictable terrain out there is the driver’s attention span.
