When this man explored a Michigan forest, he came across enough abandoned Mopars to make even the most hard-hearted muscle car lover weep.
YouTuber Auto Archaeology was on a friend’s property when he got to tour the car graveyard.
Sadly, these cars were not in the best shape.
But even in their current condition, there was something wonderful about seeing these cars all together.

What sort of Mopars did this YouTuber find in the Michigan forest?
This was practically a treasure trove of muscle cars, from Road Runners to Challengers.
It was clear that time – and sitting out in the woodland – hadn’t been kind to these cars.
Two Dodge Challengers were shown, stacked on top of each other.

The one on the bottom was sinking into the forest floor, and the back-half of the second Challenger was lying on top of it.
Elsewhere, a 1969 Road Runner was in a particularly sorry state, having been involved in a road accident and acquiring some bullet holes along the way.
Being on dirt has left these cars exposed to rot, and the structural damage inflicted is severe.
Unfortunately, many of these cars will be past the point of no return.

But can any be salvaged?
Fortunately, some of these cars will live on through being parted out.
It’s not much comfort for muscle car lovers, but it’s something at least.

This isn’t the first time Auto Archaeology has made a car discovery
As his YouTube name suggests, Auto Archaeology has highlighted a lot of cool car sites.
He previously visited a yard filled with Super Bees and GTXs, also in Michigan incidentally.
But it’s not in fields that he’s uncovered cars, as he’s come across plenty of barn finds too.

There was this 1971 Plymouth Barracuda which had spent years sitting in cow dung.
And over in Chicago, this 1970 Plymouth Barracuda 340 had spent 50 years off the road.
It’s great to see these cars getting the attention they deserve, even if they’re out for the count as far as road use goes.
