If you’re anything like me, you’ve always wondered how shopping malls manage to get those show cars onto the floor.
Turns out, the answer involves precision driving, nerves of steel, and a pair of very wide open double doors.
A viral clip out of Missouri this week shows exactly how that’s done.
Here’s how it played out.

The most expensive parking job in St. Louis
In Missouri, a $300,000 McLaren 720S was filmed reversing into the Frontenac Mall and the internet cannot look away.
The clip, posted by luxury dealer RP Exotics, shows the 720S perched on the back of a delivery truck, idling like it knows this is going to be tricky.
Slowly, it eases backward down the ramp and straight through the mall’s wide-open double doors, clearing by inches.
Inside, it glides across the polished tiles, threading between storefronts and support beams that look way too close for comfort.

A supercar creeping through a shopping center like it’s out for a Sunday stroll.
Finally, it reaches its display spot.
A space one commenter called ‘the most expensive parking spot in St. Louis,’ going on to say ‘Hope it’s wrapped.’
People love a McLaren in an unexpected place
That’s the magic of supercars – they turn logistics into theater.
Even something as simple as parking becomes a show when there’s carbon fiber and butterfly doors involved.

In the UK, shoppers at a Morrisons grocery store were stunned to find not one but two McLaren W1 hybrid prototypes casually parked outside.
Between the $2.7-million W1 and the $300K 720S, McLaren’s making everyday places feel like pit lanes.
Because wherever they go, the show goes with them.
