‘The most beautiful car ever made’ is in a heartbreaking location but one family won’t give up fighting to save it

The most beautiful car ever made might be subjective, but one that many would agree with has been sitting around in a poor state for years, although one family hasn’t given up on this sports car icon.
Enzo Ferrari allegedly once said that the Jaguar E-Type was the most beautiful car ever made, quite a claim from a man whose company made some gorgeous cars.
But the E-Type can certainly claim to be up there, but this one has been seemingly left for decades, rusting away in a remote location in the UK.
Despite this, one family looks like they are trying their hardest to save this stunning car, as seen in an Instagram video.

Why this Jaguar E-Type is sitting abandoned
The poster of this video, Cailan Simmers, added some extra context about the Jaguar in a comment.
From what he said, this car has been sitting for many years now, resting in the countryside.
Ironically, gorgeous scenery surrounds this once-beautiful car.
A huge rock sits on top of the hood, while it’s clear the elements have taken their toll on the exterior.
It is sitting by an abandoned house, with it unclear as to why the house and car have both been left.
Simmers, though, does have a theory.
Despite the state of the car, Simmers’ family still believes they can salvage this amazing E-Type.
How the family wants to save the most beautiful car ever made
According to the Instagram user, his family has tried for years to buy the car.
Locals, friends, and relatives have also tried to salvage it.
Someone in his family even offered a huge six-figure sum for it.
But for whatever reason, the owner of this abandoned Jaguar E-Type refuses to let it go.
Sitting by the house, a theory is that this was their father’s or a relative’s car, as was the house.
So there may be huge emotional value in it for them, and they can’t bear to sell it.
Perhaps it was like this for even longer, and its owner wants to keep it that way.
It is, however, sad to see such a beautiful car being reclaimed by nature in this way.
Maybe one day it can be saved, and this sports car could once again grace the roads.
