After winning a Lamborghini Gallardo from YouTube sensation MrBeast in the most random of ways, this US man took to Reddit after his NDA expired to explain the advice he was given as soon as the cameras stopped rolling.
Known for his wild and generous videos on YouTube, MrBeast often hands out huge prizes to random people pulled from the street.
These often involve supercars, which can change people’s lives in an instant.
One man, who was lucky enough to be on the receiving end of the content creator’s hospitality, has now opened up to the advice he was given by MrBeast when filming was over.

How one man won a Lamborghini Gallardo from MrBeast
MrBeast has quite a strange relationship with Lamborghinis, having crushed one in a hydraulic press for giggles and smashed another into rolls of sticky tape before shipping it off to Mat Armstrong to be fixed.
Such as his generosity stretching beyond belief, he also gives away Lambos to unexpected people starring in his content.
One of the more famous examples comes from a video five years ago, as the content creator spent a day as an Uber driver and surprised users by turning up in fancy vehicles, only to hand over the keys at their destination.
The pinnacle of these was the final trip in which one man, on his way to work, was picked up in a Lamborghini Gallardo and subsequently gifted it.

The man called the unexpected gift ‘the craziest thing that’s ever happened to me in my life.’
Years later, his NDA has now expired, allowing him to discuss the process by which he received the Lamborghini as well as the advice the YouTuber gave him.

He was instantly advised to sell the supercar
You can be forgiven if you thought MrBeast’s wild giveaways were actually staged, but he really does follow through on the likes of a $2.5 million private jet donation.
In this case, the man featured in the video took to Reddit to reveal that the paperwork was completed, and he was given the car within two days.
However, as soon as the cameras stopped, MrBeast advised him to sell the car straight away.
“While I eventually figured out that it was actually MrBeast, he turned off a few hidden cameras I didn’t even notice (first time in a car this expensive), [and] he told me to sell it as soon as he signed it over to me,” he explained.

This is because the luxury tax in his state was $6,000, and that would come into play within a 60-day period.
So, unless he had that cash lying around and more for insurance premiums, the best option would be to cash in.
The winning man also revealed that he followed through on this and sold the Lamborghini Gallardo for $95,000 – he could have held out and gotten more, but wanted to enjoy his time driving it before the 60-day period was finished.
There is a happy ending, though.
He also explained how he was using Uber because at the time, he couldn’t afford a car.
After selling the Lamborghini Gallardo, he bought himself a new Honda Civic, splashed on some shopping sprees, and invested the rest into his future.
As for MrBeast, the content creator has recently gone viral for showing off $1 billion tech products, like the SpaceX Starship, which he helped build.
