A mystery person has spent nearly $5 million on Ford Bronco and F-150 Lightning cars between 2021 and 2023.
Over the course of just two years, they purchased a total of 62 Ford vehicles, including 37 Broncos and 15 F-150 Lightnings.
This puzzling behavior was first brought to light by Cars and Bids founder Doug DeMuro, who mentioned that just one bidder was buying up all the Broncos.
Later, a Reddit usernamed taxz uncovered the identity of this bidder, who goes by the username Halfelven on auction sites.

A mysterious buyer buying all Ford Bronco and F-150 Lightnings
Halfelven’s total spending reached a staggering $4.8 million on these cars alone.
His connection to Henderson, Nevada, was discovered through a Hagerty marketplace profile.
And of course, speculation over this mystery buyer’s identity is rife.
Some believed he might be a car dealer purchasing vehicles for resale, while others suspected a possible money laundering operation due to the high prices paid at auctions.
One interesting detail is that Halfelven’s winning bids always end with the year of the car being auctioned.
This pattern makes the buyer all the more mysterious.
Halfelven’s motives are unknown
Many wonder why he chooses auction platforms like Bring a Trailer, which are known for high sale prices.
Some people believe Halfelven could be selling these cars overseas, where sales could result in even bigger profits.
Others argue that he might just be reselling these cars from his dealership.
And if he’s not selling them, he’s got one of the biggest Ford Bronco and F-150 Lightning collection the world has ever seen.
While the motive behind Halfelven’s spending on these specific vehicles remains unclear, his behavior suggests he holds some special love for Ford Bronco and F-150 Lightnings.
