Captain's split-second save forces dramatic go-around in nail-biting clip

In this short but nail-biting clip, a captain’s split-second save forces the airplane to make a dramatic go-around, which could have otherwise spelled disaster.

Just seconds before touchdown on a runway, the pilot aborted the landing and pulled the jet back into the sky in what’s known as a go-around.

The maneuver shows the aircraft powering up, climbing steeply, and banking away, which is an unusual but highly skilled practice.
