This Nevada man spent a million dollars and eight years rebuilding a 1969 Plymouth Road Runner.
Dustin Hacker was sparing no expense when it came to this customized muscle car.
He and his Road Runner were featured on the YouTube channel Autotopia LA, where he divulged more details about the building process.
Not only does this car look sensational, its a total beast on the streets.

This 1969 Plymouth Road Runner is a total knock-out
We don’t know what it is, but there’s just something about cars like the Plymouth Road Runner.
Whatever form it comes in, its a gem.
Whether it be dirty and in need of a deep clean, or secretly a Plymouth Satellite, we don’t care.

It’s one classic car that never goes out of style.
No matter how many times these cars are found looking worse for wear, be it after 25 years or in the middle of the woods, we can’t quite get enough of them.
And Dustin Hacker seems to agree with us.
He appeared on Autotopia LA to discuss his custom 1969 Plymouth Road Runner, that he’d spent eight years and $1 million creating.
When it was being made, the idea was to go for the Ridler Award – a coveted prize in the custom auto business.

This is one of the highest honors in the world of cars, given out to ‘an exceptional vehicle that falls under strict ‘never been shown before’ guidelines’.
We think this car will pass that standard with flying colors.
Dustin said: “Yes, this is a 69 Plymouth Road Runner, but there isn’t one panel on this car that wasn’t handmade.
“The roof, that was a flat sheet of metal that got put through a planishing hammer for hours and hours.”
The chassis was also handmade, although Dustin modestly described it as ‘simple’.

How powerful is this car?
Hidden underneath the hood is a 392 Hemi engine, capable of pumping out 700hp.
However, this is just an estimate as the car hasn’t been put to the test on a dynamometer.
At least half of the eight years was spent doing up the Plymouth’s interior.
And after taking a look at it, we can safely say it was time well spent.
Imported leather from Italy and a infotainment system makes a perfect blend of modernity and vintage.

There are no words to describe how wonderful this car it is.
It has something for everyone.
