A New York man has gone viral after testing a Tesla Cybertruck feature that plans an entire road trip using just voice commands.
In the clip, he casually asked the truck to map out a journey to New York City with multiple food and coffee stops along the way.
Within seconds, the Cybertruck responded with a detailed route, complete with specific locations and time estimates.
The result left the driver stunned, saying he could not believe something like this is even legal, and it makes it feel like the future is here and here to stay.

This Tesla Cybertruck feature maps a full route in seconds
While owning a Cybertruck is already a flex-worthy experience, this man’s moment in his EV will make even the most gas-loving diehards jealous.
The video began with the driver speaking to the Cybertruck as if he were talking to a human, and he gave the AI assistant a lot of commands.
He asked it to plan a road trip to New York City, but with very specific instructions, including two coffee stops and a food stop, because he was hungry.

The Cybertruck responded instantly, listing named locations along the route.
It suggested a bar and grill for food, followed by a coffee stop in Syracuse, then another coffee stop later on, before directing him straight to his final destination in New York City.
The EV also broke the trip down in simple terms, explaining that the first leg is just 10 miles and 10 minutes. It then estimates the total driving time at around five and a half hours, all without the driver touching a screen.

How can this even be allowed?
That level of automation is what triggers the driver’s shocked reaction.
He is not just impressed by the convenience, but by how naturally the vehicle understood a long, unscripted request and turned it into a structured travel plan.

As the route finishes loading, the driver thanked the system and summed it up simply.
With everything planned and ready to go, he said the only thing left to do was take the road trip and added: “Let’s go.”
It looked as though the Cybertruck is guaranteeing you’ll never need Google Maps or Waze ever again.
