After asking his Tesla FSD system to take him somewhere ‘he’d never been before’, this North Carolina man was mocked by his own vehicle.
It’s a wide world out there, and given the capabilities of the Full Self-Driving mode in Tesla EVs, the car can drive you literally anywhere.
So, why not ask it to take you ‘anywhere‘?
Well, with an entire globe to choose from, this North Carolina man prompted his Tesla FSD to take him to a new place. But the final destination was savage mockery.

Tesla mocks its owner after an unusual FSD request
The FSD feature on Tesla electric vehicles has really been put to the test recently, as the Robotaxi fleet has been going driverless in Austin, Texas.
But even though it’s become a serious piece of tech that requires constant concentration from the AI mastermind, it seems that the robotic system has a sense of humor.
In a viral video, the owner of one of the EVs prompted the car to take him to a ‘new place’, and the car hilariously mocked its owner.
Disneyland? The beach? A scenic route? Nope.
It took the couple to Planet Fitness, a local gym…
“This car thinks it’s funny,” said owners Zach and Hailee on Instagram.
“Are you s******g me? Well, I guess you’ve never been there before.”
In a follow-up video while driving their Cybertruck, the couple even asked Grok AI whether it was familiar with the viral video, and it named the pair as the culprits behind the prank.
Tesla FSD is being pushed to its limits
The funny gimmick has been a revelation on social media, with the post gaining over four million views and the Tesla FSD system becoming a comedic genius.
But other Tesla owners have been using the FSD system to get to some really tricky places, attempting to see if the AI tech can keep up with the trials and tribulations of off-roading.
One person in particular has taken their Model Y to the jungle, driving it among Tarzan and Mowgli.
Another has set up a wild obstacle course for the tech to work through.
But all in all, the full self-driving system appears to be going from strength to strength, and when it’s got a sense of humor too, who can complain?
