After passing her driving test, this UK nurse had the call of a lifetime, bagging a $150k McLaren 720S for a mere 25 cents.

What can you get for a quarter nowadays?

A bite of a burger? Half a cheap candy bar? A quick cycle at the laundromat?

Well, this young nurse from Wrexham, Wales, managed to get a fully-equipped McLaren 720S in a life-changing ballot.

UK woman hits the jackpot with $0.25 ticket for McLaren 720S

The McLaren 720S is one of the pinnacle supercars to leave the UK – definitely one of McLaren’s finest creations.

But its $150k price tag often leaves people looking for cheap rebuilds.

This Nurse from the UK, however, managed to win a McLaren after entering a 19p (roughly $0.25) ballot courtesy of BOTB.

Maria Angelica Signey, from Wrexham, opened the door after a ‘not okay’ and ‘busy’ day at work, but was instantly met with glee as she was handed the keys to the McLaren 720S.

“I just passed my driving test last month,” she said.

Maria claimed that she bought 50 tickets to the draw after he friend won an SUV on the site earlier in the year.

But she turned down the $150k supercar

After winning the supercar, she turned down the opportunity to keep it.

BOTB offers the cash prize alternative, which the Nurse claims will change her life significantly.

“My son will be going to uni, and I’m a single mom. So, I think that money would go a long way.”

It’s a shame she won’t be able to enjoy the 700hp beast, but the money will certainly go a long way.

In the meantime, the McLaren 720S in Alex Hirschi’s garage has certainly had some fun.

BTOB recently changed another UK person’s life as they won a $203k Porsche 911 GT3 for 33 cents after going through the ‘toughest six months of his life’.
