One of only 11 Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Shooting Brake models that made it to America lost half its value.
The limited edition autos were only built for certain customers.
One of them has lost half its value in just a few years.
Will you be able to figure out why?

Aston Martin is known for producing high-quality and value cars
The luxury brand is famed for models and engines that reimagine luxury year after year.
For example, Aston Martin F1 even revealed its 007-themed car for the Formula 1 2025 season.
Plus, the new Vanquish Volante has set a new record for the brand, too.
But, not every single product has retained its high value.
This Vanquish Zagato Shooting Brake was released in 2019

Part of only a select number made for specific customers, the Zagato was an exclusive car to get your hands on.
In fact, it’s number 26 out of just 99 ever made and one of only 11 in America.
It was finished in ‘Scorching Black’ and housed a mighty 5.9-liter AM29 V12 engine that was ‘linked to an eight-speed automatic transaxle and a limited slip differential’ according to the listing.
Plus, the interior features also came in clutch
Alongside a Bang & Olufsen music system, the car featured heated and ventilated seats, plus even a swanky Aston Martin umbrella for good measure.
Don’t be fooled, though, as it wasn’t all as it seemed.
The value of the vehicle has hugely decreased

When released, the car was said to have cost over $800,000.
But fast forward to 2025, and it’s sat at just $320,000 on Bring A Trailer – that’s one huge loss.
It only had a mere 3,500 miles on the clock, too.
The luxe ride was bought by the current owner just this year, but is already being sold on.
So what made it so expensive in the first place? Allow the owner to explain…
“Aston announced a new collaboration with Zagato in 2016, resulting in four different body styles based on the contemporary Vanquish.
“The Shooting Brake […] utilized a Rapide rear-end structure to provide an extended wheelbase and a lower-slung fuel tank position to allow for a flat load cargo area,” according to the listing.
So, it’s pretty special, even by Aston standards.
But would you have placed an offer on an expensive car that didn’t hold its value as expected? Or would you snap up a massive Aston Martin bargain?
Take a look at the car below.
