Bugatti has produced some of the finest supercars and hypercars in the world, like the Chiron, and has launched its first hybrid, the new Tourbillon.
But how much does it actually cost to own and maintain one of the brand’s cars?
Is it as pricey as you’d think? And how much would daily driving a Tourbillon set you back?
Let’s answer those questions as we take you through the real cost of owning a Bugatti supercar.
Servicing a Bugatti can be costly
It won’t come as a surprise to learn that the servicing cost for a Bugatti supercar can be pretty pricey.
Steve and Tommy Hamilton spoke about some of the costs involved on their YouTube channel, The Hamilton Collection.
Now, you may or may not know that Bugatti includes a four-year service warranty with its vehicles.
However, servicing costs after the fourth year can be huge.
The Hamilton team said that it comes in as a $34,000 bill.
The car company also offers an extra four-year warranty plan for $204,000 or a service-alone agreement for $11,500 a year.
After factoring in costs for engine servicing, transmission, and more, the Hamilton Collection worked out a 10-year ownership cost of $209,118.92.
That is an astronomical amount of money, even for a luxury performance car.
Some of the one-off costs were also staggering.
Replacing the powertrain, should you need to, would cost over $800,000. On its own.
Supercars that requires a lot of care and maintenance
One reason why Bugatti’s cars cost so much to look after is down to the care they need.
For example, a Chiron will need an oil change after 14 months or 10,000 miles.
That will cost around $25,000 in total.
Bugatti also recommends you replace the fuel tank, front brake discs and pads, and even the turbochargers after just four years.

This could add well over $200,000 to your bill that particular year.
Add in the insurance cost, which will be high, and gas usage bills, which will also likely be high.
All told, the annual fees of owning one of these performance vehicles could be huge.
Which doesn’t help make their supercars and hypercars good daily drivers, before you add in the extra expense.
Daily driving and fuel costs, insurance, and maintenance bills can all add up to a costly experience with any Bugatti model.
Is it worth it? Definitely!
