Kansas man blown away after looking out of his window on the highway and seeing millions of dollars' worth of car fly by

Kansas is a great state, and it is known for a lot of things, but it isn’t exactly the Pagani capital of the world.

And yet, on a random day on the highway, a Kansas resident was able to spot one of the rarest supercars ever built.

The car in question is worth an absolute fortune.

And there’s also a question everyone is asking now.

A bit more about the Pagani Utopia

A Kansas resident and Redditor who goes by SurpriseFantastic215 on the platform was able to spot an ultra-rare Pagani Utopia somewhere in the middle of nowhere in the Sunflower State.

Pagani famously creates a few models and then endless ‘Final Editions’ of said models, but this isn’t one of those spin-off supercars.

The Utopia is actually Pagani’s third ‘act’, as in the third model ever created after the Zonda and the Huayra.

Unveiled in 2022, the Utopia uses a Mercedes AMG-sourced 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 sending 852hp to the rear wheels via a seven-speed auto or, as an alternative, you get an actual seven-speed manual.

Only 99 units – for the coupe – were built, so the chances of bumping into one are pretty slim.

The odds are even slimmer in the Midwestern state of Kansas – not the ‘poorest’ in the Union, but certainly a long way from the richest.

There’s an inevitable question about this supercar’s presence in Kansas

The Utopia in question is on California plates, and so the question everyone will be asking is, how did the driver get there?

With the best will in the world, driving from Los Angeles to, say, Wichita is about 22–24 hours of pure driving time.

So that’s a two-day trip if you include a stop to sleep.

You can always fly, but loading a hypercar onto a plane for a two-hour flight or a cargo truck seems a bit excessive.

But who knows, maybe this driver is an exception.

While nearly all supercar and hypercar owners end up parking their beloved vehicles in air-conditioned garages and never driving them, maybe this Pagani Utopia owner decided to take their seven-figure beauty on a proper road trip.

At the very least, it must’ve been fun.
