A genius parking lot idea has proven so popular in Australia that people want it introduced virtually everywhere possible.

Parking can be tricky for some, especially if the spaces at a parking lot are small and require a bit of a squeeze to get your car inside.

However, this store at Glebe Hill in Tasmania has created new parking spots with extra white lines to separate the cars.

This helps keep cars more spaced out and makes it easier for drivers to maneuver a car into the spots.

This shopping center in Tasmania, Australia, has added something so simple to how cars are allowed to park.

Like every other parking lot, there are spaces separated by white lines to keep the cars orderly.

However, this parking lot uses two lines that form a rectangular box between each space.

That increases the size of the gap between the cars, making maneuvering cars much easier.

Plus, it also means there is more space between each vehicle that is parked.

Thanks to this, it also makes it easier for drivers and passengers to get in and out of their vehicles.

The one downside is that it might reduce the overall parking space.

So, parking lots might have a slightly reduced capacity over a standard parking area.

However, the extra space might make it a price worth paying.

Customers at the shopping center have posted pictures online of the car park and how much better it is for them.

One of the biggest comments was that many now don’t worry about their cars getting dinged on the doors.

With many close-quarter car parks, it’s almost inevitable that there will be some damage to various cars.

This parking lot, however, could massively reduce the risk of that happening.

The double lines also seem to have made parking easier and more accurate for many drivers.

This means that not only are cars parked better, but there is more space all around for everyone to walk between cars.

Users from across Australia have said they want other places to adopt this parking method.

We can’t help but agree and think the idea is absolutely genius.
