A 27-year-old Pennsylvania man who owns a Bugatti Veyron has revealed how he got the car at such a young age and how scary the supercar-owning experience is.
Austin Huffman is the man behind Valvetronic, a company that makes some of the best exhaust systems in the world.
He recently met with YouTuber Magnacars to discuss the company and what it is like owning a supercar.
That supercar in question is the original Bugatti Veyron, one of the greatest supercars ever made.
How Huffman came to own the Bugatti Veyron
Huffman started his business at the age of 19, and it was eight years of hard work that made the Veyron purchase possible.
Austin said: “Countless sleepless nights and challenges and all the difficulties that involve scaling a business to be able to be fortunate enough to own something like this.
“It’s not something that came overnight and I think my 19-year-old self would look at my 27-year-old self now and be very proud.”
In terms of looking after the car, the scariest thing is the maintenance.

“It is scary, but not for the reasons you might think,” said Huffman.
“It’s scary because there are a lot of unknowns,” he added.
He was able to buy the car at a favorable price because it needed a lot of work, such as a transmission leak, missed services, and misfiring.
Thankfully for Huffman, Eurotech Motorsports did a lot of the work on the car.
Fellow YouTuber Mat Armstrong also helped him understand what the best spare parts were to get for the Veyron.
Huffman said that as long as you have people willing to look after it for you, you will be fine.
The Valvetronic founder also talked about how he made this particular car his own.
This is how you personalize a Bugatti Veyron
One way in which me made his car his own was that Huffman wrapped the Veyron.
Previously, the car was red, hence the red interior.
But he wanted a more understated OEM look, so it was wrapped in black with white wrap on some accents.
“I wanted to wrap the car black because it fits in with my theme a little bit more,” said Huffman.
“With the car being black, we wanted to accent little bits,” he added.

That meant things like the front horseshoe, the gas cap, mirrors, and body trim were wrapped in white to accent the car.
Even the front bumper of the Bugatti Veyron is different.
Strakes split up the bumper, which are not OEM; Huffman likes them, so they stayed on the car.
What is it like to drive a Veyron?
One thing that Magnacars and Huffman note when driving the supercar is how small it feels.
“It’s interesting when you see it parked next to a [Lamborghini] Aventador or something; it’s not that massive a machine,” said Huffman.
Compared to modern supercars, it is quite a compact car.
Huffman also noted how comfortable the car is, and how acceleration is fast but smooth.
The biggest problem is its poor turning radius, which makes getting around tight corners and spaces difficult.
But that doesn’t take away from the experience.
“It feels unlike anything,” said Huffman.
The Bugatti Veyron truly is one of the most special cars anyone can ever own.
