Qatar Airways turned every trip into a movie with a custom Hans Zimmer soundtrack

Qatar Airways has had a custom Hans Zimmer soundtrack created to play across its lounges, in-flight entertainment, safety videos, and more.
The airline has enlisted the help of the legendary composer to create what it calls a ‘signature symphony’.
The custom Hans Zimmer soundtrack is a full album of original music that will continue with passengers from the start to the very end of their journey.
The album will also be released across streaming platforms and on the airline’s official channels.

It’s been an exciting month for Qatar Airways, having recently announced that its planes are now fitted with Starlink and boast some of the fastest Wi-Fi speeds in the sky.
Now, the airline has revealed it has a custom Hans Zimmer soundtrack that will be with passengers throughout every step of their journey.
The original signature soundtrack will be played in lounges, onboard as passengers prepare for departure, in the airline’s commercials, and even on its app.
“It’s an honour to collaborate with Qatar Airways on this visionary project,” Zimmer said.
“Together, we’re crafting a sonic experience that reflects the beauty of travel and the pioneering spirit that defines this world-class airline.”
While it’s unlikely the new ‘signature symphony’ will gain as much attention as the Jet2 jingle, which has somehow become a bit of a soundtrack to the summer, Qatar Airways is hoping the Hans Zimmer soundtrack will help to ‘shape the emotional journey’ for its passengers.
“At Qatar Airways, we aim to inspire the world with every new horizon and music plays a powerful role in shaping the emotional journey of our passengers, both in the air and on the ground,” Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Officer, Engr. Badr Mohammed Al Meer said.
“We are thrilled to partner with Hans Zimmer to compose our new signature music, exclusively for Qatar Airways.”
Zimmer is also famously responsible for composing BMW’s electric drive sounds.
You can listen to the soundtrack onboard thanks to Starlink Wi-Fi
It makes perfect sense for an airline as prestigious and well-respected as Qatar Airways to have its own signature soundtrack, created by Hans Zimmer no less.
Its onboard Wi-Fi it has partnered with Starlink to bring you super-fast internet speeds even when you’re in the air.
Starlink offers Business Class passengers up to 500Mbps of internet speeds across Qatar Airways’ entire Boeing 777 fleet.
And it’s reported to be the fastest on-flight Wi-Fi in the world.
