This Red Bull pilot decided to use a Rimac Nevera hypercar to train for a mind-blowing stunt.

And believe us, the stunt definitely needed a lot of training.

Italy’s Dario Costa is the Red Bull pilot in question.

So what sort of next-level stunt could require the use of a hypercar?

Red Bull pilot uses wings to land on moving train

By this point, you’ve most likely seen stunts involving moving trains.

Such stunts tend to feature pretty strongly in the biggest Hollywood blockbusters.

Where this is different is actually seeing such stunts performed in real life.

Well, Red Bull saw the challenge – and it took it personally.

More specifically, Red Bull pilot Dario Costa took on the challenge.

For those who don’t know, Costa is not your typical pilot.

The Italian actually holds no less than five Guinness World Records for his flying.

This challenge, though, might have been his craziest one yet.

The stunt involved making a precision landing and take-off on a moving train.

So, where in the world could host such an incredible feat of aircraft manoeuvring?

It turns out that Afyonkarahisar, Turkey, was the answer.

Costa climbed into his aircraft and took off after the moving train.

As he caught up, Costa managed to touch the roof of the carriage with all four wheels.

He then performed a vertical pull to lift off from the train he had just landed on.

Of course, performing a blind landing on a moving vehicle is about the hardest thing imaginable.

But this Red Bull pilot managed to pull it off with what appeared to be relative ease.

Team uses Rimac Nevera hypercar to prepare

So how does the Rimac Nevera fit into all of this?

As you can imagine, a stunt like this takes a lot of planning and preparation.

Said preparation took Costa and the Red Bull team to Pula, Croatia.

During the course of said training, the team used a Rimac Nevera hypercar.

They did so in order to perfect the usage of a precision-moving platform.

Thankfully, training with the Rimac Nevera clearly paid off.

Because the stunt is absolutely out of this world.
