An Irish YouTuber’s review of the world’s smallest electric car has gone viral because of how much is packed into its tiny size.

While it doesn’t have a great range, the Renault Twizy comes with many other surprising features, including Lamborghini doors.

The car is unavailable to purchase in the US, so this makes it a rare commodity.

The content creator could barely fit in the car, with his knees touching the steering wheel.

The World’s Smallest Electric Car

Irish YouTuber Stephen Stewart, known online as RambusH Does Whips has recently gone viral following his latest review of the tiny Renault Twizy EV.

He was disappointed in the short range of the car, as he says it is only able to go 30-40km on a full charge, making it a poor choice for people driving long distances.

Despite the car’s miniscule size, there was enough space for a second seat behind the driver’s seat, although it probably wouldn’t fit a fully grown adult.

Even though the car is so tiny, there are even smaller cars available, they just don’t have an engine.

The return of the quadricycle

When the car, technically classified as a quadricycle, was released, the pricing system sparked controversy.

The EV itself was sold to buyers and then the battery was ‘leased’, making it difficult to sell the vehicle on the second hand market.

Eventually this system was changed so that the car and battery could be bought together, however, this made the vehicle more expensive than other EVs in the market.

Renault will be releasing the Duo, a more evolved successor to the Twizy in the spring of 2025, which boasts a huge 100km range in comparison to the Twizy, so it seems as though Renault are trying to rectify the shortcomings of the past.

This is not the first time that Renault has been innovative with their electric vehicles, as the new Renault Emblème is proving itself as the ultimate eco-friendly concept car.

While this little car can’t travel far, that doesn’t stop it from being mighty!
