Rivian has announced that a more affordable version of its ALSO e-bike will be released, costing $1,000 less than the original model.
Although best known for its EVs, Rivian launched micro mobility startup ALSO earlier this year.
The first offering from the spin-off company is the ALSO e-bike.
Last month, it revealed the TM-B Performance electric bike, which came with a $4,500, but now the company has confirmed a cheaper option will be available.

The more affordable ALSO e-bike has an impressive range
Known as the TM-B, the more affordable e-bike comes with a price tag of $3,500, making it $1,000 cheaper than the TM-B Performance and TM-B Launch Edition.
The cheaper model looks more of less the same as the Performance version, but as its price suggests some features have been downgraded.

The TM-B Performance e-bike comes with all the bells and whistles, offering 10x assist of up to 28mph, standard and sport ride modes, and a smart air fork and air shock suspension system.
It also has an estimated 100 miles of range.
Meanwhile, the cheaper TM-B model has 5x assist and only offers the standard ride mode, as well as a more basic air shock and coil fork suspension system.
It also has a smaller battery and doesn’t offer quite as much range, but it is still good for an impressive 60 miles between charges.
Both models come with a high-resolution display, which includes integrated media and a navigation system.
The Launch Edition of the e-bike will be available first and is set to begin shipping early 2026.
This is followed by the TM-B Performance in mid 2026, and finally the TM-B in late 2026.
Reservations are open now and will set you back $50.
The electric bikes have a modular frame and can ‘shape shift’

The TM-B electric bikes are built on a modular platform, with a clever top frame system that is able to ‘turn one bike into many’.
ALSO explains that this means the e-bike can ‘shape shift, without tools, from a sleek single-seater to a cargo hauler, kid transporter or bench seat cruiser’.
Changing out the bike takes ‘seconds’ and no specialist tools are required.
Clever stuff, right?
